How to Replace an Audi G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor

Yesterday, when i was accelerating to the fullest speed from highway paytoll, i experienced massive power loss as if the engine was running out of gas or the injectors aren't firing any more. In the morning, i removed the spark plugs, 3 were drenched in gazoline, the fourth was dry. When i crank the engine without sparks, I put a piece of tissue on top of each injector hole and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline jump out but the 4th stays closed. I inspected the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55,30/55 and 48/55 I get zero ohm. I'm assuming the issue is elsewhere.

I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car will start if the G28 is not plugged in and runs fine when it is connected but it still has the intermittent misfire issue at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for the coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature of -49c, even if I unplug it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar while the actual pressure is 0.

I'm not sure what to do. I feel like i've pretty much eliminated everything else. I'm worried that i might have missed something. If anyone has any suggestions, please share them! TIA!

3. Fuel Pump
